Global Switch Health & Safety

For Health and Safety and housekeeping purposes Global Switch site rules are applicable. These site rules are handed out to badge keepers and visitors at the reception and repeated below. Not following these rules can result in removal from the premises.

You must always have a valid Identification (passport or ID card) available.
Please familiarize yourself with the Fire Exit Locations. When you hear a `slow whoop’ signal, you must leave the building as soon as possible and gather at the muster point in the parking lot which is clearly signed.
In case of emergency follow instructions given by Security and Global Switch staff.
The use of Mobile Phones in the Data Rooms is permitted, unless otherwise stated.
You must comply with all instructions issued by your host.
All internal doors are to be kept closed at all times.
Leaving the location, except in an emergency, is only allowed via the main entrance doors.
Speed limit on site is 30 KPH/ /20 MPH.
Smoking is prohibited in the building. Outside there are two marked smoking areas.
It is prohibited to eat or drink within corridors and technical areas.
It is prohibited to use alcohol or drugs or to be under the influence of it.
It is prohibited to film or take pictures or to duplicate information on site without prior permission.
Carton, plastics and other package materials are not allowed in technical areas.
Radios are not permitted.
Deliveries have to be announced 24 hours in advance.
Security is authorized to search your car and bags at all times.
For all installation works a work permit is obligatory.
You must follow the required safety precautions.
You must not interfere with works in progress, or equipment, which is not owned or controlled by you.
When leaving the facility you will assure that your working area is left in a representative state.
At no time shall any other person in the facility be put in danger due to unsafe installations, like uncovered cables or removed floor tiles, either during install time or any other time.
In case of accidents or dangerous situations call Security on extension 333. Do not call 112.
