History

Cyso Managed Hosting has its origins in early 1997 as a company that has network engineering and development as its core activities. Ambitious projects were achieved for large organisations such as the University College Utrecht, M&I Partners Amersfoort, Centre for Information Management of the University of Amsterdam. Our successful, project based approach combined with our enthusiasm have lead to a many satisfied customers. Through these years Cyso grew very rapidly, making a name for itself in the field of network engineering.

The year is 1999 and it's time for a strategy change for the new milennium. The focus will be more on hosting and less on network engineering. Cyso aims it's arrows on the niche market of Managed Hosting. The project based approach is changed by a process based workflow, pulling in new clients. June 1999 Cyso Managed Hosting opens its office in Amsterdam. The increase in staff makes it necessary to rent an extra floor the next year.

To optimize service to our clients, Cyso Managed Hosting builds its own network. This network connects to several international accesspoints, creating optimal connections for all its clients. Late 2001 the network is coupled to a professional datacenter, located in Amsterdam sloterdijk, to ensure further growth possibilities. Growth is also enhanced by our own new client relation management software. Our already impressive portfolio is extended with several major clients, such as: Dela funeral insurances, NIB Capital Bank, The van Gogh Museum and Accor Hotels

Early 2004, Cyso Managed Hosting moves its office from Amsterdam to Alkmaar. All network facilities remain in Amsterdam for optimal international connectivity. The new company building is a former dancing school in the old towncentre of Alkmaar. The charisma of the new office and newfound space creates room for further growth.
